    • - Investors, managers: Owners, capital-contributing members of limited liability companies; Chairpersons, members of the Board of Directors of joint stock companies meeting the capital contribution value as prescribed; heads of representative offices, projects or persons chiefly in charge of the activities of international organizations and foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.
    • Short-term entrants to Vietnam: Under 03 months to offer services or to handle complex technical or technological incidents that Vietnamese experts and foreign experts currently in Vietnam cannot handle.
    • People with special expertise or special marital relationships: Foreign lawyers licensed to practice in Vietnam; high-quality digital technology industry human resources as prescribed; foreigners married to Vietnamese citizens and living in Vietnam.
    • Other cases: Under international treaties to which Vietnam is a member or as prescribed by the Government.

    Submit the dossier justifying the demand for foreign workers to the Department of Home Affairs or the Hepza Management Board. Submit the complete dossier including: Health check, Judicial record, Degrees, Experience confirmation, ID photos and Application for the permit.

    A work permit is only a necessary condition for working legally. So that foreigners do not have to continually extend 3-month visas and are allowed to enter and exit freely, open bank accounts and rent housing long-term, the enterprise needs to convert to a Labor Temporary Residence Card (code LĐ2) valid for 02 years immediately after obtaining the Work Permit.
